I worked as a waitress in a banquet facility for years and was constantly carrying heavy trays on one hand. Years later I was getting a lot of pain in the area of my lower back just above my hip. I went for all the tests and they were all inconclusive. One doctor said that it was in my mind. It hurt way to much for that to be true. I paid a visit to Universal Medical Practice and they put me into their chiropractic care. After only two weeks the pain was gone. No more pain killers. I still go back every two weeks for adjustment and I feel great.

When I first met Dr. Carrero at Universal Medical Practice I was a real mess both physically and emotionally. I was 50 pounds overweight, maxed out on diabetes medicine and smoked a pack of Marlboro everyday. She was straight forward and told me that if I did not change my lifestyle I would be dead years ahead of time. She put me on a strict diet and exercise program and diet. She gave me a stress management program to follow that actually helped me stop smoking for good. It has been six months and I have dropped forty pounds and no longer take diabetes medicine. I am a new person in body and mind and I owe it all to the Doctor and staff at Universal Medical Practice.
