Willie is the real deal! I rescued a german shepherd from ACC that had a lot of behavioral issues such as leash reactivity, fearfulness, nervousness and was easily distracted by everything. It actually took her 3 months to wag her tail due to her traumatic start in life. I called trainers all over the nation from NY to California to try to get them to work with her as I was afraid she would grow worse. I was turned down by every trainer and even told to medicate my dog or return her to the pound... I finally got a hold of Will Melendez and he was the only trainer that was willing to work with her. Upon arriving to my house, he took the leash and she immediately took a liking to him. In the 1st hour of working with her, there was a huge difference. She exhibited ZERO leash reactivity and seemed calm. My neighbors thought it was HIS dog and not the one they saw going crazy on the leash everyday! I agreed to send her to his facility for 3 weeks and see what he does with her. When I got her back after her stay with Will she was a new dog! She put on weight as she was very skinny when i brought her and couldnt gain weight bc her appetite was low and her nervous energy was high. She was trained so perfectly and obeyed all of his commands beautifully. I am very passionate about what Will has done for us bc he literally gave my dog a 2nd chance when NO ONE wanted to work with her and trainers were advising me to give her up or medicate her bc she was "defective". I currently take my dog EVERYWHERE with me. She is a best friend, protector and is constantly getting stopped on the street bc of her obedient disposition. I also take her to his classes in BK to keep her sharp bc she really enjoys it. I have recommended him to numerous ppl and theyve all been beyond satisfied. Will's rates are super reasonable and he gets the job done. He will never let money get in the way of the well being of a dog, and his priority is to help the dogs bc he genuinely cares. He promised me a healthy minded companion and he delivered!

"HE KILLED MY DOG" I brought my Pitbull to William Melendez the owner and Trainer of Universal K-9 for aggression problems. When I meet Melendez he showed me a video of him training an aggressive dog. He then quickly asked me for a down payment of $5,000 Dollars (50% Down) which I thought was excessive and considerably more than what other dog trainers charged. He told me that he would need the Dog for about 2 months and would keep the dog for 1 week at a time and he would take the dog back to Howell, New Jersey where he lived and had a facility to work better with the dogs. He asked for the Dog that day. I wanted to come and see my dog several days later but he was not returning my phone calls. I finally made a trip to his business at 1863 Bath Avenue in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. I could see the light was on through the window and the gate was up however, he did not answer the door or his phone. I even left a note on his door. The next day I received a call from him. He told me that he had done everything he could to save my dog by rushing him to the Veterinarian but my Dog DIED. I could not believe my ears. My wife, two little girls and I are devastated and forever emotionally damaged by this. My little girls cry almost every day and we are heartbroken. We can never replace Oscar. To make matters worse we have had our own independent examination performed on Oscar and have found out the dog was severly dehydrated and died from heat exhaustion. Don't ever bring your dog to this incompetant, manipulative, con artist. We are suing him in hopes of putting him out of business, as well. We are also now finding out that there have been several other complaints and reports of animal cruelty by Mr. Melendez's surrounding neighbors whom have informed us that he has been seen kicking and hitting dogs with a wooden pole in the past. Please do your homework before you bring your prized dog to anyone.
