United States Post Office - Ridgewood Station

Most Post Offices are generally not pleasant experiences, but this one is a NIGHTMARE! After waiting in line over a half hour they told me they couldn't find my package.I was told I would be called about it and over a week later, no call. Don't bother trying to call them directly. No one bothers answering the phone. While waiting in the line of over 25 angry people, many people in line shared their horror stories of this mess of an operation. Whomever is responsible for running this disaster needs to be fired. It couldn't be more disorganized and the people that work there couldn't care less. The incompetence of the people at this place is astounding.

Can I vote -100 stars on this thing? It's THE worst post office on the face of the planet. I think a post office in a third world country is better than this. They have lost numerous packages causing delays for my customers and nothing but problems with me having to deal with ebay and paypal regarding the packages. Lines are long, employees are rude. Place is a dumb. I went there a week ago and there was paper and trash all over the floors. I now take the drive to the one at Sunnyside near Wendys. That post office is like having your own private jet and this one like living in a box outside waiting to die.

I rarely ever write reviews but I am making an exception here. DO NOT GO TO THIS POST OFFICE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TO! This has got to be the worst post office and worst customer service ever. I made the mistake of sending out my company's W2s from this location and over 3 weeks later no one has gotten anything in the mail. Yes, that is correct, over 3 weeks and one envelope has not arrived from a NY post office to a NY mailing address. I call hourly at this point and no one picks up.

I would have been more successful to hand deliver every single piece of mail. I hate these people.

The worst post office I've ever had to deal with customer service is horrible employees are all rude on the phone and in person they move so slow and their carriers are the worst I never get my packages and they will say they attempted to deliver but leave no slip or not come at all then when you try to get your package they try and say it's not there after only making 1 attempt should be shut down and really staffed

To be considered the worst Post Office in the US would be a pretty tough feat but this one is a contender. First off, it looks like rats are most likely in charge its so disgusting inside. The employees are dumb as rocks. They really do just stare at you like you're asking an unfathomable question like, "I'm trying to locate my package." The actual response I got back was, "well you got a problem then."

Replace them with robots.
