United States Post Office - Hell Gate Station

This is a US Post Office, so you already know what to expect:
- Long lines
- Intransigent employees when you want to enter at 4:51pm.
- "Lost" packages

I could have made a joke with the name including Hell, but I won't.

Worst Post Office in the City. Arrogant and contemptuous service, lazy postal carriers who do not deliver packages and then leave notices that they did and no one was home. An insult to tax payers' dollars. Needs a complete overhaul.

Its your regular post office. Postal workers do not have time for nonsense. Come in with a good idea of what you want, go to the right line, get what you need, get out. Need more service, go to ups.

I've been going to this post office for about 8+ years, and I've seen major changes happening. From new management, new schedules, new staff, new way they handle customer service and more. Yes, they're still far from ways of mega improvements and hopefully they'll get there.

Compared to then, I try to go before 10am but definitely after 9am, those seem to be the best times to avoid the first wave of people. It's in by 9:20am and out within 15-25 minutes, depending on the day. It's not like there's another post office I'd go to because they are much farther. I can tolerate the staff working here, so far it's been more efficient and less hassles.
