United States Post Office - East New York Station

I honestly wish there was an option to give zero stars. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I operate a business in the area and my mailman has been out on disability for the past few weeks. I literally get mail MAYBE every 3-4 days ever since he's been out. How can you possibly do this to a business? Receiving business mail is extremely time sensitive when you are waiting on correspondence and checks. Then the Post Office wonders why they are close to going out of business. I'm disgusted.

Literally the biggest cluster. Don't for a second think the mail for your building will be sorted. Didn't want to get mail from two streets over? Too bad. Mail missing? Yep. Packages literally never delivered, just false tracking updates that say Notice Left, when there isn't one? I have literally been home when they come by and no doorbell rung, no notice left, no delivery made. Absolutely the worst.

Want to feel less than human? Move to 11207 and experience the terrible customer care this post office has to offer! Wait in line 2-3 hours for a package which never arrived to your door because the mailman was too lazy to ring your bell. Plus when you arrive to the window, after waiting on line for one hour, with no slip because the mailman was too incompetent to provide one on your door, aside from your ID you'll have to stand to the side to provide a tracking number which you probably don't have on you. You locate the tracking number but the agent has already left to go spend another 40 minutes in the backroom doing God doesn't even know what! She returns takes your slip and in 20 minutes returns with your package. Meanwhile 100 people are bitching about the horrible wait time and slow process of the simple task of picking up a package. I arrived at 9:30 thinking it would be at most a 15 minute ordeal and ended up leaving at 12:10

I hate this station it is the absolute worst there possibly can be. Its always so packed and the staff is incapable of handling there resources to there maximum capabilites. The delivery service has to be amongst the worst in the state never have i ever dealt with a station this lazy and dishonest. For starters the delivery drivers never show up and to make matters worse they lie and say there was a failed attempt when there was no attemt at all not to mention claiming to have left a missed notice slip know down right that they never did if i coulx rate 0 stars i would i am utterly dissatisfied with the service from this office

This is by far the worst post office I've ever had to deal with. It's not that the people working there are so unfriendly--I'd call them mediocre at best--it's the fact that it's impossible to get packages delivered.

- They generally only make one attempt to deliver
- They've never ever redelivered though requested officially multiple times
- They often don't leave slip, and when they do it never has any information on it
- Sometimes they bring the slip but not the package, meaning they make NO attempt to deliver
- When you try to pick your package up they can't find it. Then you tell them to look harder and they're like "....oh I guess it was here.... under some stuff..."
- They don't pick up the phone

Furthermore, they've made some ridiculous deal with FedEx in which USPS will take responsibility for delivering their packages because FedEx doesn't feel like doing that in my neighborhood. I don't know how many times my packages have been returned to the sender basically just due to the fact that this post office doesn't want to do their job. I wouldn't use them, but it's nearly impossible to boycott them.

I'd also like to add, for those people criticizing the complainers, that I did file a formal complaint with the Post Master General. And guess what, nothing came of it. I'll be calling them today, but honestly, why should any of us have any faith at all in this broke-ass organization? I'm trying to voice my complaints to the proper authorities, but I really don't blame people for being jaded.
