Great symbol of international cooperation. I have been there for a few meetings. Even if sometimes it looks too abstract and too wordy, there are concrete actions taken here, in order to promote international relations and peace.

You are not united. Your name should be de-united. When Nepal has internal maoist problem you guys obstacle, and when India made blockade on its border, you guys couldn't speak up. Are you guys also corrupted or India told you guys not to speak up? Clarify me the reasonable reason please!!!!!!

Great place to get a tour of, you get to see the whole building and you really get to feel the impact this place has on the world. Awesome gift shop and cafes also.

We visited the UN headquarters on a weekend so we missed out on a guided tour which is only offered on weekdays. Admission is free but at least one person in the group needs to have a photo ID. You have to go through a security check at the gate. Information is well laid out so we were able to see the visually represented history of the UN with some spectacular photographs. Perhaps the tour takes you through the building as well which we didn't get to see.

Stumbled across the UN Headquarters by accident coming off of the High Line. Thought there was a festival or something so went to check it out. Protesters chanting, lots of them. My first visit to NYC and I'm alone. But that was the first time on my trip that I was honestly scared. Now that I know where it is, I won't go anywhere near on my next trip.
