I've been coming to this theater since i was a teenager. (And that's going back a few years. )
Over the years they have made some wonderful changes in this place. BUT.......
I have to say that the price of popcorn has gone up. I mean $6+ is very high for a SMALL bag of popcorn. That is extreme ! And if you want to add a SMALL soda to to go with it. THAT'S gonna cost you at least $ 12 in total. And that's without the price of the ticket.
I remember ( and I know prices don't stay the same ) when a Large tube of popcorn AND soda would coast you $ 5.25 ( and we thought THAT was a lot ).
Not to mention the candy counter. I mean a bag of Twizzlers coasting $5.00 and up.REALLY!
I know the theater has to make money. But not when it's going to coast you a full days pay to see a movie. And if you bring kids,,,, Forget it. That's gonna cost you a full weeks pay. Don't get me wrong. I like going to the movies. ( and can afford to do so ). But I've heard many MANY people moaning as there on line waiting to buy popcorn etc. One man front of me had a wife and 3 kids He ended up spending about $45 on popcorn's ,sodas and candy.
When I was a kid, They use to let you bring your own food into the movies. Hot dogs , Fries , etc. And the movies theater use to smell so good.
MY advice to you is ( EAT BEFORE YOU GO INTO THE MOVIE THEATER )
