I'm applying for Disability Benefits, and I went to this hellhole because I got a voicemail on a Friday "reminding" me of the appointment I had that Monday; which I had never made. I went anyway, and was directed to the literal rudest human being I have ever encountered, who informed me that I was there was because I had indicated that I wanted to apply for SSDI too. I had not, having already determined that I wasn't eligible. The woman informed me several times that I was lying. She then told me that she was *required* to fill out an SSDI application for me, but that it would be rejected. So I had to answer a bunch of irrelevant personal questions (e.g. "How much money does your boyfriend make?" and "Do you ever refer to your boyfriend as your husband?") while this woman sighed and/or argued with every answer I gave. At one point, she asked me what my disability was, and when I told her (Major Depressive Disorder, Social/Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and hypersomnia, which had lost me my job), she *rolled her eyes* at me and sighed again, just to make her contempt for me as clear as possible. Eventually I was dismissed with a "go away" hand gesture.
TL;DR: If you have no choice but to go to this miserable little place, do not expect to be treated like a human being in any way whatsoever.

I visited this office on 8/26/13. The security officer that was present for this day was very obnoxious. Who ever oversees this unit needs to give this man a lesson on sensitivity training. Thank You!! Service was fair, but, this officer should think, would he like for his family to be treated the way he responded to people that needed a little bit of help from someone that have the help, but in his mind, thought he is bigger than the world because he had the state' s badge on, like really!! If we had treated this man like he treated the people 2day, I guess we all would b in cuffs. :/
