Union Pediatric Associates PA

I love the doctors at this facility but I agree with the last reviewer that the staff have the worst customer service. I have been quite disappointed myself and I hope some of those nurses will go away. They lack empathy for the children and some of them are straight racists. I have had my child mishandled on several occasions. My baby is scared to go to this place because she did notice the unfriendliness of some of the nurses. I hope the doctors will do something about that. I know parents have complained and I hope this is not falling on deaf ears. If you have no empathy for patients, this really shouldn't be your field. Just find another job where you will not have to deal with people. It is SAD!

My son has been a patient of Dr. Straw since birth and we have visited Union Pediatrics since he has been born for all sick and well visits.

Dr. Straw is great, very personable and knowledgeable. I feel completely comfortable with her and trust her medical guidance. She and Dr. Oxford are the best. However, the office administration aspect to include nurses, administrative staff, etc. are horrible. They have absolutely no customer service, they are not at all friendly, they are disorganized and have absolutely no discern for parents who are worried about their children.

The emergency line is not effective because for at least three years the line has had technical difficulties to where you cannot hear the operator and he/she cannot hear you. Imagine calling in an emergency already upset and having to worry about whether the proper information is being heard to transfer to the doctor you hope to call you back.

I am saddened but I have to cut my losses with my favorite pediatrician Dr. Straw because of the terrible office she is apart of :(

I would not recommend this Dr. office for anyone's child.
