Union Family Medicine: Rizzo David M DO

This is an excellent Doctors office. My wife is extremely pleased with the care given to her by Dr. Bhatt & I by Dr. Shah. We're both very happy with the way that this office has continued to develop.

This doctors office is scam and a fraud. I called today to make an appointment with Dr. Rizzo. I explained I have sever vertigo and asked if this is something he can help me with. The woman who answered the phone was specific in saying "Oh yes he is execellent in curing vertigo. So I said great and I asked if I would definately see him." "She said yes so I made the appointment for 3pm. My son came home from work to take me. So I get there and I asked if I was seeing Dr. Rizzo and the woman behind the desk said yes. So I go into the examing room and some lady takes my vitals and I tell her what is going on. She says Lucy will be right in. I said to my son who was in the room with me who is Lucy. Lucy who is a Nurse Practionar not a doctor starts doing an exam and I ask where Dr. Rizzo is and Lucy says he has not been here in 3 months. My son looked at me and I asked why and she did not answer so I have to assume he did something illegal by her response.
So I said you are not a doctor and she said no she is a nurse practionar. So I am not getting a doctor to see me and she no she is seeing me. I said I am paying 80.00 not to see a doctor but a nurse, and she said a nurse practionar. Than she tells me she cannot help me with vertigo and I have to go to an emergency room. So now I have paid 80.00 to not see a doctor and be told by a nurse that she cannot help me and I have to go to an emergency room. What a scam and a fraudulent office that is being allowed to be open for business and yet they do not have a doctor as they advertise, he is... as later I was told out of the country…and you have a nurse practionar who cannot and does not know anything or waht she is doing. They stole my 80.00 and I called my credit card company and I told them the story and they agree it is fraud and is disputing the charges for me, but worse of all people r going to this office and are being scammed. You advertise you have a doctor you better have a doctor not a nurse practionair. Beware of this fraudulent office and the scam they are running. Remember it is your life you are dealing with when you go into that office and do really want a nurse practionair to see not a doctor. Do not go to this office because you will be getting scammed.

Terrible, worst experience I ave ever had at a doctor's practice. Went three months ago for prescription that needed pre-authorization from my health insurance, I've called many times and still have not got a resolution. I've made dozens of calls and spent too much time on hold.
