I had to give up 2 Malteses. They are brother and sister, and lived together all their lives. The people who ran the shelter put them up for adoption but they had to stay together. She knew if they were split apart they would miss each other. That meant so much to me. Someone adopted them both and they are living a happy life together. Wonderful people who give their time and energies to help animals in need.
