I am a potential employer. I searched your web site for your Career Services department, hoping I could contact someone about job opportunities. There is no contact number for the department and I wasn't able, calling your general number, to reach someone who could direct me to the department.
What is the value of a career services department if potential employers can't reach you?

This school is a joke. It is designed to keep student 4-5 years to complete a 2 year program for an Associates. The longer you stay here, the more financial aid money the school gets. Guidance counselors will pressure you to major in Liberal Arts and take stupid classes that won't transfer to a university.
4 tips for going to Ucc:
1. Take Gen-ed (general education) classes that are also offered at real colleges
2. Don't major in liberal arts
3. Don't take remedial math classes online
4. dont go to ucc

this is the worst school. I went here for 2 semesters and the entire time no one was willing to help me. I kept going to advising because i wasn't sure what classes i was suppose to be taking for my major and they would just tell me to figure it out. I ended up transferring to a different community college where they told me i didn't need any of the classes i took there so i had to start as a freshman again. THANK YOU UCC. The college i am in now has helped me with choosing the right classes starting from my first semester until i graduate. The professors here are all willing to help you succeed academically unlike at UCC where i had to figure out everything on my own and i felt so lost. Their advising sucks!!

The Professors who actually care are a credit to this institution. It's a community college so you kind of expect some riffraff to take away from the educational experience, but when the noise level of a library sounds like a high-school lunchroom, it definitely shows how little the reputation of the school is being taken seriously. Pretty much self-serving when it comes to making your class schedule, so become very familiar with the online registration process. All things considered, it's an okay school as long as you have a clear sight of what your goals are.
