I have been diving with Paul and the staff of Underwater Adventures Dive Center for almost two years, including certification courses, local dive trips and most recently returned from an eleven day trip to the Maldives organized through UADC. The trip was well organized and brought together a great bunch of like minded people, which made for an enjoyable, and educational trip. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and often goes the extra mile to ensure the success of their students. I would recommend UADC to any diver, either new or experienced, for training, local dives, and diving vacations.

I first met Paul Mickel and the folks at Underwater Adventures Dive Center (UADC) in July of 2012 when I came in with a friend to take my Open Water class. Right from the start, I could tell these were a great bunch of people and amazing dive professionals. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. Once I hit the water, I was hooked!
It has now been 15 months since that Open Water class and I have racked up over 100 dives! I have been through my Advanced Open Water, Aquarium Diver, Digital Underwater Photography, Dry Suit, Enriched Air, Emergency First Response, Full Face Mask, Ice Diver, Master Scuba Diver, Rescue Diver, Tec Rec Gas Blender, Wreck Diver, and Divemaster certifications. The staff at UADC have taken me from my very first class all the way through becoming a professional Divemaster and I look forward to working with them as I reach for my Instructor rating next season.
I've made so many life-long friendships through UADC and I can't thank them enough for it. The fellowship and camaraderie with these men and women have made for some of the best times in my life. I've also enjoyed watching other new divers take to the sport with such passion and enthusiam.
Just recently, I took a two-week vacation to the Maldives with 9 of my UADC friends to stay on a luxury liveaboard yacht and dive in the Indian Ocean. There are no words to describe how amazing this trip was! I got to dive up close and personal with more species of Sharks, Rays, and other fish that I had never seen without Aquarium glass in front of me before. We even made new friends from England, Russia, France, South Africa, China, and Germany on the trip.
We've also had fun closer to home. Weekends at Dutch Springs in Pennsylvania. Trips down the shore to dive the wrecks in the Atlantic. Up to Thousand Islands in Canada to dive the wrecks of the Saint Lawrence. Even to the Baltimore Aquarium to dive in the tank with the exhibits in front of all the visitors!
There's so much to enjoy about SCUBA and there's no better place to learn and grow than Underwater Adventures Dive Center with Paul and his staff. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone with even a slight interest in the sport.

I have just completed the first part of an Open Water Diver certification program at Underwater Adventures. I would recommend this dive center in a heartbeat! Every aspect of this course was well organized - from the initial sign-up and receipt of study materials, through the completion of the pool sessions - I knew exactly what to expect of the course. They taught the course at a level which I'm certain PADI would be proud of! The three instructors involved in our training during the 3-day course (Ken, Ramas and Scott) were all personable, helpful, informative and funny! On several occasions I witnessed these instructors go above and beyond in order to help a fellow classmate succeed in a skill they were struggeling with (Ramas even swam alongside a struggling classmate during the 200 yard swim in a show of support for him!) As a result of their instruction, I feel confident in my abilites as a new diver. I cannot wait to complete the second half of the Open Water course and then move on toward an Advanced Open Water diver certification.

The guys at the dive shop were incredibly flexible, eager to assist and knowledgeable. My son was set to do the certification but it had to be postponed. He will certainly return there and will bring a group with him due to the high quality service we experienced. Thank you Ken and team!
