Large family dinner and they seated us upstairs which was great. All the food was delicious. Only complaint: waiter asked if we want to do a dessert platter and we said ok but only to a small one. We ended up receiving two huge ones and they charged per piece. It was way too much food and $. Otherwise highly recommend.

We loooooove Umbertos! We get food every Friday and never get bored. Of course it's sometimes better than other times, but that is understandable and expected

The pizza here is not that tasty. Its pretty disgusting. They burn the pizza so much and it just tastes like burnt bread and cheese. I just ordered a margarita pie and it tasted horrible. They continously burn my pizza and the crust is extra crunchy and hard. I am never ordering from this place again. I recommend luigi's.

We had a family event in the upstairs and they did a great job with a fixed menu. The chicken piccata was very good, the pizza was very good. Too much food which I guess is a good thing. The wine was a full glass but $10 a pop. Ouch.

I have been going to Umbertos since I was a kids growing up in Garden City. I live in CT and every time I am on LI I make it to Umbertos for their 'great pizza'. However, for some reason, the pizza has gone dowhill. It is not the same. Have they changed the tomato sauce?, the oil?, the cheese?, or a combination thereof?
Anyone else notice this?
