I had a great experience processing for the Air Force Reserve here in Brooklyn NY. I wish they had more offices available in the NYC/Long Island area. This is the only AF Reserve Recruiting Office for the entire City of NY to include L.I. Those recruiters are super busy, but they are very knowledgeable and very thorough with the information they provide. My recruiter was more than happy to answer a few of my questions over the phone (which I appreciated) and sent me information via email and referenced the information as well. I am prior service and this experience was a whole lot better than my first one.

Excellent experience. Msgt Ramos and Ssgt Jared were very approachable and easy to deal with. answered every question i had with no doubt or hesitation. i saw some low rating review in this page there in regards of their availability, well, reality is, everyone can get busy and overwhelmed at sometimes. So if no one was there, why not give them a call and leave a voice-mail or shoot them an email. walk in were welcomed as i saw too.they are not a pushy type so they make you comfortable of making your own decision in regards of joining the military.

I had a great experience at this office. All my questions were answered and the Recruiter was very professional. However, I did make an appointment, did my research, had all my questions written down and ready to conduct business. Maybe that's why my experience was different?
They did not have many jobs available as they advertised on the website. But the Recruiter assisted me with focusing on the big picture "the benefits". Highly recommend this office if you are interested in becoming an Airman!

Fantastic recruiter! Master Sgt. Ramos is extremely helpful. I called with some questions that were not exactly "his department" (reserve status issues), but he still took the time to answer every one of them for me rather than just passing me off. He also offered some needed personal advice. Would highly recommend.

I went to this office to make an appointment for my son. The lady behind the desk didn't let me in, we talked over intercom. She made appointment for my son to come at 10am next day, she told me to bring his documents. The next day me and my son appeared at the door exactly at 10am. The same woman was behind the desk, she didn't let us in! Over the intercom she told us to come at 3pm. This office really sucks, so unprofessional....
