I made my reservations about two weeks ago and at that time the person on the phone asked me for my credit card information to be able to keep the confirmation but that the card was not going to be charge anything because I had mentioned that I will be paying cash. On Sat 27th of June 2015 I picked up the truck along with my brother all paperwork was finished and the lady helping me asked me again for my credit card information which I found strange because I had already given that info when I first did the reservation. At the time I did not have the card with me and I asked her why do you need this since I am paying cash. I was told is just to have it on file to finish the paperwork you will not be charged. My brother gave her his card. We picked the truck up and went on our way. Did everything we needed to do and return the truck after hours drop the key in the place assigned and we left. On Monday I called to confirm all was fine and to see if I was owing them any money or if I was due for a refund. I gave $100.00 cash as a deposit and she gave me an estimate of $52.94 which was 10 miles. The actual total of mileages was 18 so my expenses came to a total of $69.55. I was owed $30.45 which I was going to pick up cash at noon. When I get to the place the girl attending there at the time tells me she cannot give me a refund cash because someone had already done the refund and put it on the credit card on file
What!!!! how do you do something like that. If I give you a cash deposit I expect a cash refund period. How do you go and use a credit card without authorization??
unacceptable business procedures. I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone. Now I have to wait 3 business days to see if the refund took place and have my brother send me the money
