U-Haul Moving & Storage of Parkslope

One of the worse places to keep your stored goods, U-haul hires people that do not want to work. They sit there and look for way to rip you off on anything and everything. I have used them because i had no choice and time to switch my goods to anywhere else and they did not even appreciate my business. I have used them for shipping a ubox from multiple states. I did not have a problem with them, until my goods arrived at this location. I started paying storage and wanted to ship my container out and they charge me for both shipping my contained 1300. plus a storage fee of 76 when i did not even store the box in their facility anymore. Every time i call and talk to someone from this location, I get a person who never even passed elementary school. Uhaul. you just lost a customer for life.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER SHANELL BURROWS WHO WILL NOT LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY FEEL THEY ARE BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY BY HER EMPLOYEES. SHE EVEN PUT PHONE DOWN WHILE I WAS SPEAKING AND WAITED UNTIL I WAS FINISHED TO PICK BACK UP. THE REASON I FEEL I WAS SCAMMED AND PROBABLY THERE ARE OTHERS OUT THERE TOO IS BECASUE WHEN I RETURN MY TRUCK, THE REUTRN PERSON EXPLAIN TO US THAT ALL TRUCKS BEING RETURN HAVE TO BE HOSED OUT AND WASHED WITH SOAP IF THERE IS ANY DUST . BASICALLY I RENTED THE TRUCK WITH DUST IN THE BACK AND RETURNED IT WITH DUST IN THE BACK AND THEY WANTED ME TO TAKE IT FOR TRUCK WASH FOR THEM OR CHARGE ME $25 + TAX SERVICE FEE. NOT FAIR AT ALL. THE MANAGER SHANELL BURROWS TOLD ME THAT IS THE POLICY AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT EXCEPT DECIDE TO NOT RENT ANYMORE TRUCKS FROM UHAUL. UNBELIEVABLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO SUCK XTRA COSTS FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS IN ORDER TO PAY FOR MASSIVE RENOVATION THAT IS BEING DONE TO THE PREMISES. I WONDER HOW ALL THE DUST GETS INTO BACK OF THE TRUCKS? STAY AWAY FROM THIS UHAUL IF YOU CAN.

U-haul "took me for a ride"
I rented the truck for extra storage for a few days, drove about 6 miles total. When I returned it i was horrified to find that they were charging me for 200 extra miles (over $300) .
My protests fell on deaf ears ... to add salt to the wound the staff were nasty and made me feel like I was trying to pull off some scam.

I went outside to the parking lot and asked one customer after the next if they were told to check the mileage before they rented the trucks... all of them responded that they just relied on the attendant.

Please beware - this place will rip you off!
