The museum was closed but on a nice day it's worth the trip just for the view from the tower.

Twin Lights has been a life changing experience. This place is a wonderland of sedimentary rocks such as quartz sandstone, volcanic breccia, and shale. From the light house you get romantic view of the separation of Pangea. Get ready to go on a journey through time to simpler place, where the earth consisted of one continent. I would definitely recommend bringing your family or that special someone and rekindle your love of sedimentary rocks. Bring your lunch and get ready for the journey of a lifetime.

This is a Great Attraction to visit if you're in the area. Climb up one of the historic towers, and get a spectacular view of Sandy Hook and New York City. Admission is Free, and you can also stroll the grounds and enjoy the view and peace on the top of the New Jersey Highlands.
