Simply the BEST--let me reiterrate, the BEST--customer service you will ever get in the renting of formal wear. If you know anything about suits and formal wear, and you are in the market for such a purchase, simply forget all that you know and think you know and let Hugo walk you through it. Most guys I know want to come in with a preconceived notion of what they think looks good, or what is the new hot trend. You are probablly wrong. This is the business that Hugo is in and he does this every day. I might add, he does it exceptionally well. I came to Tuxedos by Santos in need of a simple black suit and a nice shirt. I walked out with a simple black suit and a nice shirt. No upselling, no unnecessary acessories like a vest or flashy shoes. I asked for one thing--that the suit not be baggy. I have large theighs so I thought getting fitted for a pair of pants would be a problen. this was not the case. I tried on one pair of pants and I thought they were to baggy. the next pair fit perfectly and they moved with my movement. Very high quality material. No polyester here. I tried on jacket. It look ill-fitting. Hugo said do not worry, this is the right jacket. It was when I picked it up, most definitely the right jacket. I am 6 feet 4 inches and 270 pounds. I was concerned with constriction in chest and under the arms. I had none of that. There is a tuxedo for every size here. And you will look great wearing whatever Hugo puts you in. When i came in to pick up my suit, I asked for a tie. I spotted a black one on the rack. Hugo found an even better one. I would be trekking through the city for several hours on foot and on subways. I was concerned as to how the suit would hold up over the course of my very long night. I started in Summit, NJ, got on a train headed to New York. Once at Penn Station, I took another train to Brooklyn where I walked a half mile to the event. I danced and partied and did something I never do--I actually took pictures because I felt so confident in how I looked! After the event ended at midnight, I took an Uber to Williamsburg and danced the night away at Club Bembe! I took the subway back to Penn Station where I waited for the sunrise train service back home. Twelve hours later, the suit was still in tact! It still looked fresh and amazing. Thank you Hugo for making me believe again that wearing suits is not as uncomfortable as it looks! this will be my go to place for any formal wear I need and I will spread the word on every social media site than I can about the wonderful service that you provided me!! My fiancée and I were recently at Santos and had a great experience. Hugo is very friendly and provided great customer service. He took the time to explain the different options we could go with for our big day. I really appreciate all the help and advice he gave us.
