Food is great and the owner is very dedicated to her patrons. Beautiful place to visit if you want Turkish food and avoid Manahattan...

- Terrible #48557
It was 9 of us and we spent over $350 and if I can go back to time, we would have never picked Turkish Grill. Food was Ok but the server Ali was so rude and nasty. I been to so many restaurant but never had a service like this. I will never recommend any one to go Turkish Grill because of Ali.

In response to your response, I HAVE NEVER experienced such disrespect from any restaurant as I did yours. Your response exemplifies it all and you call yourself "the owner" - such a great example you set as NOT PROVIDING a remedy to the situation for a customer who had a horrible experience at your establishment. I will be reporting your business to the BBB, NYC Health Department for your expired juice that was served to my 4 year old nephew, and Consumer Affairs. Lastly, no credit card was declined as we have more than the given means to pay for our meal and our reservation was for 8pm so I find it quite odd that you stated we were seated at 6pm - please get your facts correct. Oh, and have a pleasant day :)

I've eaten at this place several times in the last 3-4 years. I've gone there with parties of 15-20 people, as well as just me and 1 other person. Their service is great, waiters are respectful, detail oriented, and servicing.

However, today I had one of the worst experiences ever with Turkish Grill. I made an order for a pick up (7 platters --> $131.00 - which were delicious by the way). When I called to make the order, I told them that I will need extra white sauce, they said that's fine it's not a problem. While I was there to pick up the food, I told the lady behind the counter that I will need extra white sauce with this order. She said that's fine it's not a problem. When I got home and opened up the bags with my food, there were only 2 small (not even 2 ounces each) containers. These containers were the size of the white paper containers you can pour ketchup in when your at Mc Donalds.

I called Turkish Grill, informed them of the situation. The lady who picked up the phone (Sevvy or Selvy) informed me that I should have told her that I needed Jekkuk (or something like that), and not white sauce. I told her that I don't speak Turkish, and that I always call it white sauce, and that I'm sure there are a lot of customers who don't know the exact word for the white sauce in her language. She again said to me, "well then you won't get it, unless you order it like that".

I then asked her if I can speak to her supervisor (his name is Ismael), she said "he's not here right now, but even if you speak to him watch him say the same thing."

I'm disappointed. Not only did we not get the proper amount of white sauce which is needed for 7 platters, but we also were informed that if you don't know how to speak the Turkish language then you may not get everything you need at this restaurant.

NEVER going back again.

You guys just lost a very loyal customer, and all of my family members who were loyal customers as well.
