Turk cavi cok guzel.
![]() This is the coffee that I've been drinking for years. They have filtered Turkish and non filtered Turkish coffee. Both very strong and will give you a boost to get you throughout the day.
Also, pastry. I love their croissants - when possible, I ask them to put a spoonful of Nutella. They can put it on to anything you like. Even their filtered Turkish coffee! (For those who never had Turkish coffee before, unfiltered Turkish coffee has a coffee on the bottom of cup. Take my word for it; don't mix Nutella!) They also have a various other kinds of teas. During the summer, they'll make you a lemonade. Fun guys go talk to while you're waiting for a cup of Turkish coffee. I always leave here happily with a big smile. ![]() For me, a cup of Turkish coffee is very strong, therefore, I could only drink it in the morning. If I need some boost in the afternoon, I could drink their coffee, which is also Turkish coffee, just filtered.
It's not bitter. Very smooth, and inexpensive. A small cup is $1.25. Who sells a good cup o' joe at that low price anymore? It's a steal on Wall Street. Guys seem to be very nice. Also, very knowledgeable about the neighborhood. I saw them being asked where the Bull is, and they nicely navigate tourists. There are a lot of cafes in this area, but these guys are absolutely my favorite. |
