BEWARE !!!!!!!!!----Price GAUGERS----Nothing Else
I had a problem in my front-right side window.
Initially, that guy was very nice and slowly started dismantling the window components from the door.
He removed the motor and the motor controller. Without even giving a second thought, he told me that BOTH needs to be replaced. He took me to his cabin and after searching in the computer, he told me that it will be $288 for parts and $105 for labor.
And he insisted that I should only buy parts from his supplier.
I could not take it. I paid the diagnostic fee and backed off.
I just drove to a AUTOZONE shop. The original OEM motor was selling for $56 and OEM motor controller for $52. So, that is $108 for parts in total. But they (Autozone) helped me find that the controller was OK and I ONLY needed a motor.
So, this TUFFY guy wanted to LOOT me of 180 DOLLARS overall (considering both motor and controller were defective when, in fact, only motor needed to be replaced).
When he realized that I could guess that he is a cheat, he had a real gloomy face and was unresponsive to any of my questions.

Reject their first price quote since it will be inflated!! These guys always quote a really high price for extra work that does not need to be done. I come from a family that works on cars so I recognized exactly what they were doing and they always throw in a lot of extra work that does not need to be done to see if you'll bite. I tried Tuffy three times but I'll never go back.
