Pretty affordable and reliable been with them 3 years now no complaints.

11/1/11 I've been at the E. 137th St., Bx. Tuck-it-Away for years longer than intended, since not getting an apartment. It was, and continues to be, the least expensive of the company's locations. For a long time, there was no elevator; now, with the new elevator, apparently Bx. real estate still makes that much difference in the rent.
Customer service is reasonable - people are always polite and professional, but the main manager would be, for example, needed to check regarding reservation information specifics, then not available more than one day per week.
The halls have not always been maintained cleanly, but have been repainted recently. The ceiling needs repair near my unit. The windows are covered with plastic, the old walls are crumbly, and - once in years, years ago, I found a centipede on a box. So it's sufficient, when you need the least expensive, but not like the locations where you have pristinity and atmospheric control. (Remember, we need to be using less antibiotics, and developing germ resistance...)
They require that you buy your lock from them, which maybe isn't so unreasonable in an era when security is an issue.
It's a good deal, for the best price. This location also has shorter hours every day, a short half day one day of the week, and isn't open Sundays any more.
