Troy's Stay and Play

Dishonest and unprofessional. I strongly do NOT recommend.

My dog lost 35% of his weight in a week there, and we would call and were told all was great he was eating fine. He drank water like a horse at home when we picked him up. Than later vomited and had the runs. We immediatly took him to the Vet. Vet said its probably he never rested and ate properly from from being overwhelmed by over crowded surroundings. Won't take my dog there again to pay high price for him to suffer.

My husband and I had a family wedding to go to in St. Louis, Missouri on June 29th. I have been getting my maltese Sophia groomed at Troy's Trims and Treats in Englewood, New Jersey for over 20 years. Troy's also has an excellent five star 'doggie hotel' called Stay and Play in Ridgefield, New Jersey. We did not hesitate to make arrangements for Sophia to board at Stay and Play while we were in St. Louis for six days. Nick Lygnos was a total professional and his passion in life is taking care of your dog and making you happy. He does this by making sure your canine pal gets everything from walks, playtime with other dogs, any and all medication and vitamins that your dog takes, and yummy mealtimes. We highly recommend Troy's Stay and Play (as well as Troy's Trims and Treats). Jamie and the staff will make sure that your dog's every need is fulfilled.

I have no idea what the gentleman below my post is even remotely talking about. Troy's Stay and Play is absolultely wonderful! I have had nothing but a fabulous experience with the facility and Nick, the owner. Nick is very knowledgable and passionate about the care of animals. This daycare/boarding facility is spotless and ran with the utmost efficiency. I would never think of entrusting the care of my 2 pups with anyone else. You drop your pup(s) off and walk away knowing he/she will be properly cared for and attended to. If there were 5 additional stars, I would check them. A 10 Star facility for sure!
