Went for dinner with Groupon and was ripped off on sales tax which was taxed on full price per menu not on Groupon price. Would not be a big deal if food quality was on par with prices. Unfortunately can not say anything good about items ordered. Duck foie gras was over cooked. Fillet mignon with mushrooms was so salty I could not finish it. I think they marinated it in salty sauce and then seasoned it with salt again. Steak and Octopus appetizer were eatable but no way worth the price asked on menu. Even two glasses of wine did not help our disappointment.

I enjoy this restaurant very much. I found the food to be very tasty and the service attentive. The place is different than any other on Staten Island. You have to be open to an atypical experience.

If there was a 0 I would give it...The food and service is good but it's a rip off especially if you are getting a Groupon...There was manager or a supervisor to talk to and when asked for the owner he wasn't there either. I had the waitress to call the boss and he said the he wasn't the o e to write the Groupon but he did sign it....I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IT'S A RIP OFF!!!

Very tasty meal and good customer service, waiters are not annoying and polite. Also they have live music every Saturday.

We were very excited to try this place out. We saw a lot of four and five star reviews and the pictures looked great. However, we ended up being extremely disappointed by the end of the night. The waiter would disappear for extended periods of time. And when he did grace us with his presence he was very rude and short with us. It took about a half hour just to place a drink order, and we had to flag down a random waiter to get them. He did not seem to understand a word we said and had to resort to pointing out the drinks on the menu. When we placed the order for our entrees (after an hour wait) our actual waiter did not seem to understand us either. The food arrived fairly quick I must say and three out of the four entrees were very good. One of the steaks were under done, but under done is better than over done. When we asked for it to be cooked a little longer, maybe butterfly it, the waiter was quick to point out he knew what he was doing and trudged off. Three of us had mashed potatoes with our entrees which arrived at the table COLD! Not luke warm or cool, COLD. Due to the waiter apparently entering witness protection we decided not to bother with dessert and asked for a check. A half hour later I reminded the waiter we needed the check and we finally got it. During this time we were never asked if anyone wanted another drink or if we wanted desserts. We split the bill down the middle and ended up just bringing the check up to the waiter. This next point may seem minor to some, but it rubbed me the wrong way. They "request" (it's apparently mandatory) that you check your coats, which I'm OK with. And anytime I've checked my coat at another restaurant, I've always tipped the person looking after my coat. I waited at the coat check desk for five minutes and nobody arrived. I ended up going back there, hanging up my and my wife's coat, taking my claim tickets and going to my table. When I went to get my coats back I tipped the gentleman a dollar (remember I checked my own coat). He was quick to point out that it cost two dollars an item to check your coat. Excuse me? You make me check my coat, and then hold my items hostage for four bucks that you didn't even check? It's stupid and it's only four dollars, but it's the principle to me. I was very disappointed and a little embarrassed since I suggested this place to my party. Again, the entrees were delicious and the price was pretty spot on for what I got (minus the cold mashed potatoes.) For a half filled dining room the waiter could have put in a little more face time. And been a little nicer. Very disappointed.
