Great school! Learned alot!! I realy recemmend this school!

It's a great school great starting point for someone who doesn't know nothing to leave and know something I came in knowing a little to get by and this school just helped me get to the next level both teachers marshal and David I wish I could have had more days with marshal but it's okay there both great teacher a lot of different hair textures to practice on would recommend this school to a lot !!! Tribeca barber school is an extremely interesting place. I decided to enroll after my cousin got his license here and I realized I could acquire mine during my summer break from college.if you are a hands on learner, then this will be a good method of learning for you as they throw you in to cutting right away. The place can feel a bit chaotic at times, but after the first month you start to understand the underlying method of how the school is run. It is a place where you get what you put in as far as learning, if you are motivated and not afraid then you will learn a lot. The interesting characters that come in for haircuts is a constant source of entertainment, as well as is the main teacher, David. I think this school deserves for someone to make a documentary about it. My only complaint is that I wish there could be more one on one teaching because you usually have to fight for the teachers attention if you have a question and David gets frustrated if you ask him the same question twice. All in all, it has made for an extremely interesting summer being a student at TriBeCa Barber School.

Ok I'm embarrassed how my username from YouTube end up here urrrrrrg lol .Yeah I love thick chics so there.Im Arnold incase you wondering. Best barber school I would say in NYC Judging from students who visit other schools. My experience was awesome. I came in with zero knowledge of barbering and ended up with best at cutting hair now .So if your a Freshman in this don't worry and don't be scared the teachers are there to help you Marshall is the best love this guy
David is awesome as well he teaches you every step and very nice guy and fashionable lol.
Sylvia is too wonderful she works with you and teaches you scissor techniques that you must learn for straight hair .
Radha is awesome secretary he help you with everything from registration to graduation.
First week is classroom, second week your in the shop cutting hair. I have wonderful retuning clients for hair cuts and bald shaves lol .I miss it so much wish I can be there forever lol. Soon to be Master Barber.

I love that the program was short and to the point. They give the essentials to pass the the state board exam. David and Marshal make a great team of different teaching styles that compliment each other. Sylvia is also very helpful and has great knowledge of the hair cutting world. I do recommend doing your own research as far the equipment. I could saved myself some money had I not been lazy on that part. Good Luck!
