Went there for the 1st time with my girlfriend. 1st time. Once served requested grated cheese for my meal. Waited never came back. She got up to get it herself. Felt rushed during the meal. Requested a take home bag. Never rec'd it. To boot waiter complained about his tip. 1st and last.

The place is hit or miss. It's never terrible but it can be annoying when its packed and the service is lacking. Sometimes the food is great and other times its just OK. Not a bad spot but not consistently great.

The best Italian you can find on Staten Island and frankly one of best in NYC. The head chef is always out making sure his customers are happy. I know I am every time I go.

My family and I had dinner here for my birthday and it was amazing. The food quality, portioning, and even personal attention given to the customers is outstanding. Between the staff, the owner, the quality of the food and atmosphere I would recommend this place to anyone. I have been warned that it is packed on Fridays, so fair warning.
