In from Ohio to watch a Jets game at MetLife Stadium and stumbled upon it. The restaurant is extremely small but so quaint and cozy. I felt like I was in Italy. It is cash only and BYOB but there is a store with a huge wine selection a block away. Reservations are recommended as there are not a lot of tables.
Food was wonderful. We were greeted with a plate of bruschetta and we had an appetizer of grilled artichoke hearts which were extraordinary--lemon, garlic, olive oil and fresh herbs. Our waitress was Italian and had a pad of paper with an entire page of specials in addition to the menu. I had pork braciole and my husband had 3 different kinds of ravioli with different sauces. Our meals included fresh garden salads as well. Pina cooks everything from scratch. We also had a desert with quartered ice cream dipped in chocolate.
I wish we had gone back the next night. Wonderful Meal!

Main courses are good, and the atmosphere is terrific. But the complementary house salad is just average, as is the free bread drizzled with olive oil and pieces of tomato. Oddly, the "specials" never vary. All in all it's a fun place the first few visits but after a while you wonder why the menu never changes.

Dont go here for lunch! They aren't open when they say they're going to be. Thanks for wasting my lunch period and parking money. I despise restaurants that dont follow their posted hours. I show up to work and leave when im supposed to, I expect the same from a business. This place had clearly been closed for 2 hours before theyre supposed to be, if they ever even opened at all today (a Wednesday, a normal business day for them.)

I don't know what all the rave is about the food is mediocre at best. to top it off his "veal salta in bocca" was a piece of PORK TENDERLOIN!!! I agree with some of the other guests that the food is covered in a thick and gelatinous sauce and that the Tomato Sauce had no taste, no Basil, no Parsley no taste!
Maybe I caught a bad nites service, but I wont be back, Sorry!
