- Excellent #75864

I went to school here from 1953 to 1963. It was K-9 then. The building was an older one, and the playground was all gravel then. Mr. Nuefeldt (not sure of spelling-I was young at the time) was the principal.

My last visit to the Mt. Vernon area was in 1974.
