Checking out is a nightmare because they typically have almost no registers open and the ones that are are manned by sad, slow-motion zombies that must also apparently be dealing with a crappy POS system that just isn't responsive. Even when you try to do your best to move things along once it's your turn, it still really doesn't make a difference.
It might be more pleasant to drown yourself.

Filthy and messy store. There's dust everywhere. I'd say shop in Paramus as it's a little nicer, but not by much. Easier to just buy this stuff on Amazon now anyway. Good riddance.

Ignore the bad reviews. I've been here twice in the last month and both times was very impressed with every employee I encountered. They all seemed genuinely eager to help.

I will never shop at Toys R Us ever! Made a online layaway payment they took my money and then told me my order was cancelled after taking the money..,. Any future toy shopping will be done at a different store... I will blast them on facebook and twitter... becareful of the companies layaway policies once there stock is gone they take delayed online layaway to provide for other customers....
