Big store, a lot of selection with over priced items. People who work there are nice, good people. However, owner has a attitude problem.

Good service, selection, and convenience... a little more expensive than someone like amazon, but understandable for the convenience of a local store. I still prefer a real toy store to be able to look at the durability of toys before I purchase for my children.

Wow items were so over priced> and i mean by alot one toy was 39.99 for the big lego blocks and i got the same thing for $9.00 at target. Another toy was $199.99 and i actually got it for $59 bucks.. Thats just a waste of money and its taking advanage of the comunity just because we live in mamaroneck ...the heck with no lines id rather wait on line... I will never shop here again...Id rather drive around the Ave and throw money out the window.. Atleast someone would get it who needs it...

This store is all about convenience and service. They offer free gift wrapping even at the holidays. It is truly a neighborhood store. Sure, you might pay a little more, but it's better than wandering around a big store that doesn't have enough help and then waiting on line for a half hour.

The above reviews are misguided. We've had nothing but fun-filled friendliness, welcome, and good values to be found at Toy Box!
Toy Box beats nearby Miller's Toys on price -- for sure! (Though not as economical as Merry-Go-Round Toy Store in downtown New Rochelle.)
I'd describe Toy Box as "cozy" and Miller's as "slick."
For the region and Mamaroneck clientele, Toy Box delivers a relatively reasonable value.
