Tory Burch

Despite all of the negative reviews I went to the Manhasset store because it was the closest location to me. It took me over an hour of going back and fourth with a sales associate to have a return processed for a bag that she tried to convince me after less then a week was peeling due to "normal wear and tear" and gave me multiple excuses to why she could only issue me a store credit. Will NOT be shopping at this boutique again due to the poor customer service.

First off, I love Tory Burch and I will continue to purchase products. Just not here. Ever again.

My mother and I are loyal Tory Burch customers - we purchase several pairs of shoes, handbags, and sunglasses every year. We never have a problem getting help in this store when we are purchasing something. However, a bag my mother received for Christmas from my father was horribly made and fell apart in one month. This has never happened, and we truly believe it was a fluke.

So we go to the store and explain our situation. We did not want a refund, merely an exchange or store credit for a different style bag. We waited for 45 minutes for the manager and when she looked at it, she said: "this damage is due to wear and tear. We won't accept it." Did not look my mother in the eye. She walked away. My mother had used the bag twice.

My mother and I politely pursued the matter, ultimately having to reach out to more senior Tory Burch employees. We eventually had the bag exchanged for a similar style, and my mother is very happy with the quality of the new bag. A few months later, in the Manhattan Tory Burch, my mother and I noticed no bags had the same material as the faulty one my mother had received. We asked a sales associate and she informed us they had a history of the material not holding up well.

We will not be returning here.

The store associates here are very rude, racist, and discriminatory. I love Tory Burch, but I will never ever shop here again. They will be very nice to you when you are shopping around and make a purchase - they will be all over you even to the point where you will need to ask for some personal space. But the moment you come into make a return, they will give you an attitude and make you wait. And they totally abandon you. Even the manager will give you a nasty look and stare you down, almost in a derogatory way. I bought over a thousand dollars' worth of stuff and just wanted to return a few things. But of course, they despise that because sales is commission-based. But in a day and age like this, who would not take a return from customers when they are dissatisfied with products??!! Who do they think they are. Do not shop here. They are racist too - only nice to certain races. And disrespectful. If you do not fit their "profile of customers" forget it. They won't bother to help you. I never had a horrible experience like this especially when I'm spending my money.
