Bob and his assistant from Top Hat & Tails cleaned, inspected, and repaired my chimney earlier this week and I highly recommend! After leaving several messages and not getting a return call from a locally recommended company here in Chatham, I decided to try the service that the prior owner had used here at my home. Bob not only returned my call within 24 hours, but he also called the day of the appointment to let me know that he was running a few minutes late due to problems he had found at his first job that day. He was very efficient and careful with my home, making sure he did not get soot in my living room. Even better, he found that my damper was broken (which I thought might be the case), and fixed it for no additional charge!!! Happy to say we used our fireplace last night and it now works perfectly - and I have found my new regular chimney service. Hats off to Bob at Top Hat & Tails!
