While out in the West Village celebrating an anniversary and birthday, the heel of my boyfriend's shoe fell off. We walked past Toosh to see if they could point us in the direction of a men's shoe store and instead the owner took his shoe, sent one of the employees out to buy glue, and repaired his shoe right there on the spot - and at no charge.

They were so helpful and accommodating - they have earned themselves a customer the next time I need shoes.
