Tony's Pizza on Nostrand

I ordered my food at 6:18pm for delivery, only a few blocks away, and received it at 9:10. This was after 3 phone calls to the restaurant. Two calls assuring me it was on its way then hanging up on me mid-sentence. And during the final call they started blaming me for ordering it through Seamless and that I would have to talk to the company because they did not have my order there. The employees then passed the phone around to each other talking over me when I tried to explain what was going on and I eventually spoke to someone (I'm assuming a manager of some sort) who actually sounded like he was listening and wanted to help. He found my order, apologized and said he never received the fax and would send my food over immediately. After nearly three hours, my food arrived and I did not receive a reimbursement, just two simple chocolate chip cookies they were probably throwing out at that hour of the night anyway. I reached out to Seamless and they tried to contact the restaurant but they did not answer. In the end, the pizza was just okay nothing special, the wings are decent - quite large and hot. I understand technology errors, and that was not my problem, it was the horrible customer service lying to me that my food was "on its way" when really they didn't even know my order existed. They seem to communicate with the "customers are always wrong" sort of attitude.

I called in a delivery order. Over an hour later, I called and they said it was being delivered. Another 35 min later, I get a call from the delivery guy barking something in Spanish and because i couldn't understand him, hung up on me. So, I call Tony's back to "translate" and the guy on the phone starts complaining about how my address was too far away (even though no one ever said anything about it during the 2 previous conversations) and was a complete jerk about it. I asked for a refund and the guy said okay and hung up on me. Of course the delivery guy magically shows up 2 min later with the food. I try to tell him to call the restaurant and let them know he had made it and that I would go ahead and take it (I was starving). He told me that I should call them myself. Needless to say, I will NEVER order from this place again. What a s**t show...
