Is there a more diverse park in the world? I doubt it. Handball playing hooligans mix merrily with children on swing sets, hipsters on the grass and junkies nodding on the benches. High-quality weekend market along one side, bands in the spring and summer and food kitchens for the homeless round out what is quite simply the best park in America.
