Great place for comics, toys and cards, Jeff the owner knows his stuff also.

Went there for the first time today - they had some issues of a certain comic that was unavailable at my usual local joint - and it was more than worth the somewhat long drive. Jeff the owner was probably one of the nicest guys I've ever run into...he introduced himself and shook my hand when I entered, and was extremely nice and helpful the whole time. He really bucked the negative stereotype of the typical "comic book store guy," and the Google User below who said he seemed "creepy and weird" is an example of what's wrong when you allow the common dullard the ability to leave reviews for local businesses.

Anyway, Time Warp has a great selection of toys, both older and new, and a VAST selection of new and back issues of comic books. It's almost mind-boggling how much stuff this guy has, and everything - even the new issues on the racks - are bagged already to ensure that they're in great shape. It discourages the ability to flip through an issue that you're curious about, but I'm sure if you promised to be careful Jeff wouldn't mind if you opened one up to check it out. And yeah, it's a tad cramped in the store, but that's what so awesome about it...you could literally spend hours digging around and discover all sorts of neat stuff and not even scratch the surface. It's a fun experience that might be lost on someone that's used to just clicking Buy It Now over and over, and one I strongly recommend.

To sum it up: Time Warp is a great comic book/toy store run by a very friendly and helpful guy, and I wish I lived closer so I could go there more often. But I'll still make a point of taking an occasional trip out there, you can be sure of that. If you're a comic fan and live anywhere in the area, you need to visit them.

I am very impressed with Time Warp. I really wished I had this shop back home. Jeff is very helpful. Loves talking comics with details and enthusiasm. I am working from out of town and had a pull list with a shop within walking distance where I have had an extended stay with. I have to make a hike to Time Warp but well worth it.The other shop seems to pull the comics in the worst condition. Everything I have gotten from Time Warp has been in very well kept condition. To those that like to get comics that would be graded well and not blatantly overpricing variants. Time Warp is the place to go. It has been night and day with the experience I've had with the comic stores in Long Island area. Time Warp is creme of the crop in my opinion and will try to stay in touch and order remotely in the future.

Very Nice store. Spacious and extremely well stocked. Has last 8-12 months of recent books at cover price and a huge selection of back issues, action figures and TPBs. Very helpful owner who is always very patient answering my son's endless questions.
