New to the Brooklyn area, I needed to find a salon that uses Mizani products. For starters, I was surprised they were willing to schedule an appointment with me before a consultation, but without realizing at the time, the consultation was being done right over the phone. I was 30 minutes late for the appointment (thanks to MTA transit), but they were very kind and inviting towards me when I arrived. I only had to wait about 15 minutes before a handsome gentleman from the Virgin Islands (Joelle me thinks his name was?????) started on my head (and it was a Saturday, too!). He was very thorough explaining to me the different types of Mizani perms and what would be best for my hair. After he applied my perm, he conditioned, and then another nice lady shampooed my hair. I absolutely LOVED their shampoo bowls, because my head and neck continued to feel like they were in an upright position as opposed to being flipped all the way backwards. It was VERY comfortable! I didn't particularly like having more than one person on my hair, and the price tag seemed a little steep compared to what I was used to down south, thus the less than 'Excellent' rating, but I was still very satisfied for the most part. I think I have finally found my Brooklyn salon.

Always a great cut, in a quiet, relaxed and meticulously clean environment. One of the best barbers I've ever had.

I have been going to the Time Salon for the past 2 1/2 years and i love it! Not sure about those who had negative experiences, but the staff there is more than professional, they know what the HELL they are doing and they are all great stylists! you walk out looking like a celebrity everytime!. Leatrice is the best stylist I have ever had and AM NOT giving her up anytime soon! Time Salon is THE BEST!

I have been going to TIME salon for close to four years. I noticed a hairstyle featured in Essence that a stylist from the salon did and I thought that it would work for me coming right out of college into the career world. Leatrice is very sweet and thorough about what cuts would work for my frame. She is an excellent stylist who cares about quality and in addition will not do anything to your hair because you are paying. She knows her stuff and I have recommended her too many people and those same people continue to go to her today.
