Thread Eyebrow Salon

Great, quick, $8 for an eyebrow thread. They have a great loyalty card system, but if you start two separate ones (perhaps because you forget yours), they will not combine the two for you.

I visited this location based off a host of reviews and it was close to my job. I wanted my eyebrows threaded, which I get normally from another salon, I was a walk-in(no problem), the esthetician and I discussed what I wanted, she said "I will try to give you the shape you want, but your eyebrows are shaped different." Well about 15 minutes later she was done and she did an AMAZING JOB! I could not have been happier, with her attention to detail, workmanship and effort and finally the finished look. Her name was NC and she did GREAT! I will be returning to Thread Salon and they provide yummy caramel candy and a loyalty card, 5 trips and the 6th set is free.

I just returned from Thread on 33rd and am livid. I have been having my eyebrows done and my lip waxed for over 20 years. I am an Indian woman.

I had been there once before and they did a fine job.

Based on that, I went in quickly before dinner which I am running to now

Mona was my person. She has left my upper lip red and in pain, guaranteed to scab in a few hours.

Rule #1 of waxing on the face is to never apply the wax twice on the face, and Rule #2 is never to stick the paper with wax on it, on the wax on the face. She broke both of these rules, and now my lip is red, she tore a layer of skin off, and tomorrow my face will scab.

When I said something to her about it, she denied it. Then admitted it and said there was hair there. But if she was good at what she did, she would have pulled the hair on the first try.

She also did a pretty average job on my eyebrows. The lines are not straight and neat.

I am very unhappy with the job and plan to speak to manager about her.
