Solid food, clean shop and good selection. Very friendly talkative staff.

Stopped in for lunch and had a very tasty corned beef Reuben. To help digest this meaty cheesy goodness there was excellent coffee from Stumptown and some fine music playing. Further visits will be required to try some of the other smoked meats on the menu.

Came for the first time today. This place hits the trifecta of value, cleanliness, and tastiness! The tastiness factor probably needs to be borne out with a few more visits, but you can tell there are more good things to come. I got the chicken cutlet avocado sandwich. It comes with mozzarella; I asked for lettuce and tomato - no problem. The chicken was warm and tender (couldn't tell if it was crispy due to all the lettuce) on a hero roll that was soft and chewy. Little bit of mayo which was in just the right proportion, like everything else in the sandwich. It comes with chips and a pickle spear. The lunch special also includes a free can of soda. All this for under $8! The place is small and takeout only. But I guess that makes it easy to clean and keep tidy. The perfect place to go if you want to grab something awesome to take back to your desk. I will definitely update as I try more things.

*update: came again and had the panini. Didn't notice it was pre-assembled and just reheated. It was ok. Need to go back to my chix sandwich again!
