I highly recommend Thinker Tots of New Hyde Park. My daughter attended Thinker Tots when she was a baby. We started with mommy & me classes and continued on with pre-school classes. My daughter was a very shy child when she was young and Thinker Tots, with a nurturing environment, has helped her be more outgoing. She enjoyed attending her classes so much that when it was time for me to pick her up, she did not want to leave.

Whenever I am asked about mommy & me or pre-school classes, I always tell people to check out Thinker Tots of New Hyde Park.

My son started at Thinkertots in a Mommy & Me class and moved into a drop off class. Ms. Thelma taught the children structure, sharing, basic academics and independence. After my son was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, Ms. Thelma was helpful in monitoring his needs, helping me obtain the help he needed and while it was hard to move on to a special needs program and leave Ms. Thelma we had to for his growth. Although I believe, Ms. Thelma could have been able to successfully handle his needs if she had a full day program. He still talks about Ms. Thelma and misses which is high praise from a child with his diagnosis. I have made life long friends at Thinkertots and hopefully our children will continue to nourish those friendships. I highly recommend Ms. Thelma and her program.

I brought my son to the mommy and me program with Ms. Thelma starting when he was a baby. We ended up staying in Thinkertots until my son was 4 years old! The mommy & me program was great, I watched my son learn how to share and communicate with others, The drop off program helped my son mature and enable him to successfully start pre kindergarten. Besides teaching academics, Ms. Thelma is nurturing, she made my son feel comfortable and in return I could leave him there knowing he would be ok.
Besides my son loving Thinkertots and Ms.Thelma, I made lifelong friends there and we still see eachother although our kids have not been there in almost 2 years!

We also LOVE Mrs Thelma.
