Terrible! They have a good quantity of yarn and the store is clean and bright. The people are not nice nor are they friendly. The owner is an exceptionally poor businesswoman. Would never go back. Would never recommend it.

Found my spindles both plain and ornate and such an array of hand painted non commercial us yarn made all throughout the country just for this store.pleasant help was patient Anand respectful. Made a lovely mother's day another yarn to tell at next family gathering

A paradise for knitters has arrived! As a finicky customer (one who wants quality yarn that is fashionable and timeless) I was looking for a yarn shop that had yarn with pizazz at a reasonable price, with professionals who smile and are not pushy.The Yarn Company is the friendliest, most professional, and least pushy of all the knit shops I have visited in person and online. I have even made three trips in the last year to NYC from Atlanta specifically for The Yarn Company. Shopping in the Yarn Company is like visiting a knitters' shop in my dreams. Shops in the Atlanta area pale to compare to The Yarn Company. The Atlanta area has plenty of yarn shops; however, The Yarn Company "takes the cake" for sure. The staff, the yarn, the efficiency, and even the assistance via the phone can not be compared. They seem to never be too busy to be of assistance to me in person or on the phone. Having a staff of designers, who are willing to assist me on a pattern or yarn on the phone, is priceless. Yes, I enjoy touching and feeling yarn and holding the color up to my face to see if the color works with me. The staff at The Yarn Company will even send me a text or email picture for me to get as close as possible to the yarn without traveling to the shop.As a Consumer Reports advocate and an person who is addicted to knitting, I would rate The Yarn Company 5 knitting needles plus!

Amazing place! Set up as a colorful gallery for fiber and headquarters for fiber artists, the store is modern, clean and airy but still cozy, with a patient & helpful staff. Walls of gorgeous yarns, including hard-to-find indies. Cool events, visiting designers from all over, lots of exclusives. Go there!
