Great Friday night place. Packed with people, long Island ice tea was strong. :). Try their burgers. Highly recommended for a late night hang out

Oh The Wicked Monk... Let me count the ways...
Whether you're looking for a friendly pub to day-drink at and relax to a hopping mad place at night with live music, TWM has you covered on both ends of the spectrum. A true Irish pub (the owner is from Cork, Ireland I believe - which is actually a great city) good times are sure to be had here. From several drinks on tap to top shelf liquor, they have something for everybody and prices that are about average.
The decor, well, you'll have to see for yourself. A bit twisted and gothic, but with a higher-class vibe than your local dive bar (slightly).

The food was fair @ best. overpriced for bar food. staff was friendly, but extremely slow! the acoustics are horrible. not even crowded for a Sunday brunch, but so noisy you could hardly hear yourself.
for the money, there are better places to eat in bay ridge.

Please save yourself the trip down here if you're just going for food. My girlfriend and I just left miserable. The "half pound burger" was the size of a hockey puck and the wings my girlfriend ordered were tiny dry and over priced. I asked the girl why the bread she put on the table was stale and she shook her head as she took it back. The burger I asked for which was medium arrived completely rare and when I asked for it to be fixed they just threw my patty back on the grill instead of making a new one which would have had a cost of about a buck. I did tip a dollar and five cents though which I thought was too much. The fries were OK but some much more cooked than others
