I went here to have my 900 dollar guitar amplifier packaged. I was told that it would cost 50 dollars and they would "double pack" it because it was fragile. When it was received by the buyer all the tubes were shattered and it was sliding around in the box. Don't go here if you need to ship something valuable. This place is terrible.

Every time I walk in there the service is unfriendly and seem to not care about the costumer all.
The first time I tried to ship a package I received false information: I asked them to add a Fragile sign on my package for free. They said I have to buy one. It turned out UPS does not offer the Fragile-Service at all.
The shipping costs are painful high as well as packaging costs. (A medium empty box for packaging can cost you easily $20)
The only thing I enjoy is, that you know the package will arrive on time.

Should be zero stars. These people will rip your face off. I've been shipping my products from this store for the past few weeks. I always ask why the charge is so high (for example, a 2lb package with 3 day select service charge is $36) and each time I'm told that's just what it is. What I didn't know is that UPS franchisees are allowed to charge whatever they feel like. The actual cost for this package should be $12, so this store is charging TRIPLE what UPS should charge. Spare yourself the agony and go somewhere else.

Poor service, deceptive pricing.
I printed a larger job on Monday and was charged twice the price of copy (which - mind you - is not printing from a file although there is less automation. Go figure). To print the color file, I was asked to do it from a computer as the printer would not take USB. They charge $2 for accessing the PC after the fact but did not tell upfront. "it's the 'way we do it here' I was told at checkout. Nice. More work for the client and more money for the store. Ditto stapling and punching. The attitude of the female attendant that afternoon was so nonchalant that it is a turn off.
Conclusion = nickel & dime + attitude - service = 125th Street UPS Store.
Recommendation - for copy print jobs check Staples further down on 125th @ Lenox : better service and transparent pricing. They also ship UPS, and USPS, if you need to.
