The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria New York

I am very dissatisfied sitting here in my room. When I came in, they asked me to switch rooms b/c they promised mine to the adjacent family. I had to switch rooms b/c they screwed up...and no it was not a suite! Just a regular room at a lower floor when I asked for a higher one. Then the heat doesnt work and the engineer had to spend an hour tinkering around in and out of the room...and could not fix it. Yes, they had to give me a portable one. Then the bath tub doesn't flush...am I in a super 8 or the Waldorf Astoria? When I called the manager he was barely concerned and asked if he can send me up some tea....yes, tea! If you want a decent experience and basic hotel amenities, this is not the place for you. And not for me either as I am a frequent business traveler to New York but will never return!

Took my mom to New York for her first visit to the city. We stayed at the towers and everything was flawless in Suite 36J.

This was a wonderful Hotel with great history and old fashion luxury. This is definitely the best Hotel in Park avenue. It also offers the best Sunday brunch with lobster tails, shrimp, salmon etc... This Hotel is also located close to a lot of great attractions and stores. I will highly recommend staying here for a wonderful experience !!

We stayed at the Waldorf-Astoria January 3 - 6, 2013, to celebrate our 28th Wedding Anniversary and we loved it! We were upgraded from a queen room to a two room suite and the gentleman that checked us in was wonderful to us! I read the reviews before we went and was kind of nervous but was so relieved when we were checked into our room and saw just how fabulous the Waldorf truly was! Our room was quiet, the bed was a-m-a-z-i-n-g and we truly enjoyed our time there! Truly a landmark hotel!
