This is a great place. Probably best views in NYC, but the staff are often very poor. It's a real shame. Service takes a very long time at the bar and there's always a lot of attitude towards letting you in any day of the week.

The view guys....the view is amazing.... you can capture a beautiful sunset across NJ skyline. The drinks are good. On Saturdays they have live jazz. 6pm to 7pm is a good time to visit at the Standard rooftop on the 18th floor to have dinner and enjoy the amenities.
The bathroom is like a labyrinth. Glass doors everywhere...also in the stall itself you have a floor to ceiling glass to see amazing views of manahttan while you relieve yourself. Beautiful place all in all. Will impress your date.

Great views. Good jazz. Expensive drinks and food. Very expensive. Quite exquisite though.

View is incredible. Food and drinks are good to match the view. Overly pretentious and its popularity doesn't help to keep the staff wanting to please

We were unable to get in because there were 2 guys and a girl. They said it was "invitation only" yet they let all groups of girls in behind us without a problem and denied all guys. They not only lied to our face, but also just let us wait in line for nearly an hour without saying anything. The guys I was with were ready to spend a fair amount of money and we were pushed out. Worst bar in NYC.
