I've been here several times. People are very friendly and I always love their fish. The portions are a good size. The servers are very friendly and attentive. I read one review that said it's a little pricey but I don't think that they are any more than the other places in this area. Would recommend to try. Don't think you'll be disappointed.

We came in for lunch between Christmas and New Year, with three friends up from Florida. Pleasant service and tasty food. One slightly grouchy girl was reluctant to give high marks as the toasted cheese sandwich was not up to her very particular standards. Her mother disagreed, retorting "that's real cheese" after a quick nibble. The youngest girl, sometimes known as Liv, said "bleh, bleh, blerh". All in all a pleasant lunch.

Good burgers and beers, perfect location near railway station. Very friendly people. A little bit pricey, but the best bar in the center of Locust Valley.

I came here based on a previous reviewer's promise of late night adultery with nerdy Scotts-man. All I ended up getting was a Guinness on tap and a really good sautéed chicken with artichoke hearts. Would have given 5 stars if the sex had happened, I'll come back for lunch, maybe get lucky then.

If you want tasty food, delightful decor, fair prices and great conversation with the locals, Tavern on The Plaza is where you want go. Visiting Locust Valley from Westchester my wife & I recently had dinner here consisting of Seafood Provencal, a burger and several glasses of house cabernet. Not one complaint could be discussed.
We were offered a variety of seating options consisting of outdoors, dining room or in the bar. Signs within the establishment advertised daily happy hour specials that looked inviting.
Service was well above par with our waiter "Michael" who was attentive throughout our meal but not overpowering.
When we find ourselves returning to Locust Valley we will certainly make a point to return here as it was most enjoyable.
I trust you will agree.
