The only reason this is getting a 4 star is because they stopped brunch in March 2015. Otherwise it's one of the best BBQ places I've ever had but they need to bring the brunch back.

Pretty tasty BBQ place, especially on the meat craving days, the cornbread was also very good, plus the space and the live band make it nice communal place to hop into. Perhaps the only downside is the ribs and brisket do tend to be fatty on occasion making some of the prices seem mildly inflated

Best barbecue place in astoria and probably in new york. Great beer selections as well and great staff. Versus fette sau in brooklyn, the strand is by far the better restaurant. Great music too - although sometimes a bit loud.

I have visited here a few times. I enjoy their food and the service is pretty decent. I love the fact that I can get bourbon and whiskey on tap from barrels lined up by the bar. During the summertime you can sit outside, which is great! One thing that I found strange the last time I went was the lack of selection. I went there for a party at 1pm on a Sunday. I went up to the counter to check out what they had and to my surprise there were things already crossed out on the menu! The place had just opened at noon! The items do change daily and **Items subject to availability** so I may have just missed out!

Go hungry. This is fantastic. The ribs are mouthwatering, the pulled pork is fantastic....you know what, just go there.
