I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at The Stone House and had such a wonderful time with my family and friends!! Not only was the food amazing, but so was the service!!! Both Luis and Miguel were pleasant and also, helpful with the menu. For appetizer we had the fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms with sweet potato, which I thought was so different and very tasty and a Ceasar salad. Yummy!! I had the strip steak for entree, that was well prepared with sautéed spinach and a potato cannoli, enjoyed every bite!! The owner, who is one of the nicest people, put together a beautiful display of desserts, but my absolute favorite has to be the Cookie Butter Mousse Parfait!! It's definitely a must try!!! They also, made it exceptionally special by having Luis light a huge glass of wine on fire and served myself and guess a warm sangria from the lite glass!!!! I would highly recommend going to The Stone House for delicious food, a beautiful and fun atmosphere!!!!!

From beginning to end, my wife and I had a great experience. The setting is perfect, and the fireplace sets the mood. We had the filet mignon satay (with peanut sauce) and the fried calamari with sweet and sour sauce. Fantastic! The Caesar salad was excellent and our filet mignon and lamb were prepared perfectly. And for dessert, you have to try the cookie butter mousse. I want 2 days ago and I already want to go back. I came all the way from the Bronx, and it was worth the trip.

I would have to say that this iconic staten island location has been taken in a direction that I hope more staten island locations follow. The food was a match for the surrounding beauty. I loved walking over the quaint bridge to get to the restaurant from the parking lot. So serene. The menu was very inventive, yet still had some mainstays for the less adventurous. Whomever came up with the idea for a duck ragu is genius, and the charismatic portly waiter even said they used chocolate in it, brilliant! I can't wait to see what the seasonal summer menu will offer. I'll be back.

Amazing! This is the kind of place you go back to time and time again. Food is amazing, you can't eat just one dessert, and the owner is just the nicest person ever! Can't wait to go back.
