The Staten Island September 11th Memorial

It is a good idea to take a free ferry from Manhattan and walk around here. It is also a place to remeber at 9/11...

11/18/15:

Incredible structure to memorialize those lost on 9/11. It features silhouette faces of some that were lost, illuminated in a soft yellow light. It is particularly impressive at night. The structure is situated in a way that allows you to peer through the opening and see the location of where the Twin Towers stood out in the distance.

Amazing place to take in the sights,say a prayer,and remember the devastation that took place on that awful day of 9/11 may all the ppl that died on that dreadful day rest in peace.

Pretty dam cool

A well thought out memorial away from tourist areas. A space for personal reflectance and individual contemplation over the events of 9/11.
